What is Dolce Reverie's mission?

We create artist-made ocean pieces that fund marine conservation and help people carry a little of the sea with them. Every design starts as original art inspired by real encounters with marine life.

How does Dolce Reverie support ocean conservation?

A percentage of sales is donated for plastic collection through Seven Clean Seas — so every piece you buy helps remove plastic from the ocean.

What are the necklaces made of?

Each necklace is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel — hypoallergenic and built to last — with your choice of finish: uncoated Stainless Steel, 18K Gold PVD, or 18K Rose Gold PVD (finishes vary by style). PVD coating is bonded to the metal, so it's durable, water-resistant, and won't easily tarnish.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

No. 316L surgical steel is hypoallergenic and nickel-safe for most people, and the PVD finish resists tarnish and water. With gentle care it stays bright for years.

Can I wear it in the water?

The finish is water-resistant, so the occasional splash is fine. To keep the color richest for as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before showering, swimming, or long water exposure.

What size is the pendant and chain?

Coin styles have an 18 × 18 mm (0.71") pendant; Mini styles use a smaller disc. All hang on an 18" (45.7 cm) stainless steel chain (1.5 mm wide) with a lobster-clasp closure.

How do I care for my necklace?
